Rifle bull elk and rifle cow elk permits are given out in a drawing. It is difficult for hunters to draw rifle elk permits, but if you do draw a permit, Rifle Elk Hunts are available. Prices and dates available upon request.

About Our Boat Hunts for Archery Elk and Trophy Mule
Deer
Fort Peck Reservoir is the 4th largest reservoir in the world. It is
over 150 miles long and has over 1500 miles of shoreline. The area lies
within the famed Missouri River Breaks and Charles M. Russell Wildlife
Refuge. The refuge alone encompasses over 1.25 million acres! It offers
some of the best deer and elk habitat in the United States. We hunt
the reservoir in 20 to 24 foot covered boats. This affords us access
to the most secluded areas where there is virtually no vehicle access
and little hunting pressure. Another advantage of hunting with the use
of boats is that physical conditioning is not as imperative. We can
get you to remote areas with minimal walking. Once the game is harvested,
it is taken to the lakeshore and picked up by the boat.
The reservoir also provides excellent fishing for walleyes (they hold
pro walleye tournaments here), lake trout, smallmouth and northern pike.
In addition we can target small game, coyotes and prairie dogs.
We operate out of the Hell Creek area, which is 25 miles north of Jordan,
MT. We have four boats in our operation ranging in length from 19 ½
to 24 feet. Each is covered and has a 10-horsepower trolling motor and
a backup motor. The boat is equipped with all the fishing gear we need
for catching pike and we carry all of the required safety equipment.
Hunter is responsible for their game processing.
There is a game processor in Jordan.
